Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role involves evaluating patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments and standardized tests. You'll develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings and provide therapy to improve patients' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews.
  2. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients' specific needs.
  3. Provide therapy to improve patients' communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, and fluency, as well as swallowing and feeding abilities.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
