Job Title: Software Sales Representative

We are seeking a talented sales representative to spearhead the sales efforts of our newly launched online payments solution. This role offers the opportunity to engage deeply with local government clients and expand your career in a rapidly growing company.

As a sales representative, you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our local government clients and their needs. You will also be responsible for conducting outreach to clients to set up and deliver product demonstrations, establishing pricing strategies and negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the implementation and post-sales teams to ensure a smooth transition for clients.

We've seen firsthand how manual spreadsheets and ineffective software not only block productivity, but negatively impact community relationships. Our team of almost 200 employees has a specialized view into the inner workings of small and mid-sized local governments-how they manage budgets, revenue and funding in all different districts and regions.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in software, payments, or technology sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Familiarity with local government operations and software solutions is a plus.
  • Understanding of online payment solutions, pricing, and fee models is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits

This remote-based sales representative position comes with a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development within the company.
