Electronics Specialist

Aero Instruments & Avionics is seeking an Electronics Specialist to repair electronic instrumentation and aircraft components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and mechanical disassembly.

The Electronics Specialist will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics components in accordance with manufacturer specifications. This includes utilizing specialized test equipment to diagnose issues and interpreting schematics and manuals to perform duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and troubleshoot avionics components to identify issues
• Perform repair and maintenance work on electronic instrumentation and aircraft components
• Utilize specialized test equipment to diagnose issues and interpret schematics and manuals
• Document and report repair work using company software
• Interact with engineering and quality personnel as required

Requirements:

• A.A.S. in Electronics or equivalent formal training
• Electronic/mechanical disassembly and reassembly experience
• Soldering experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and outstanding integrity
• Strong technical and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• High-precision soldering experience
• ESD & IPC certification

Additional Information:

• Background check required
• Must pass a drug test in accordance with FAA drug testing program requirements
• Schedule: 40 hours Monday - Friday, 1st or 2nd shift
• Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour DOE
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• This position is located in Depew, NY.
