Medical Specialist in Neurosurgery Support

St. Luke's Health System is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Neuro Surgical Services team in Boise, Idaho.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing instrumentation and equipment needed for invasive procedures, demonstrating proficient use and implementation of the same.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures
- Maintain asepsis and ensure a safe environment for patients
- Prepare and sterilize equipment and supplies as needed
- Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments
- Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Preference given to candidates with neurosurgery experience
- A competitive salary of $62,000 - $80,000 per year
