Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support student development and well-being in Connecticut. This role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to create an inclusive and supportive school environment.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled professional to provide psychological assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with staff to improve learning outcomes. As a School Psychologist, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations, create individualized strategies, and offer training and support to teachers and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to identify student strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies to promote academic and social-emotional growth
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to address students' needs and improve learning outcomes
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Offer training and support to teachers and staff on mental health and behavioral management strategies

Requirements:

  • Valid Connecticut State School Psychologist Licensure
  • Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
  • Experience conducting assessments, creating intervention plans, and supporting IEP processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
