Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Regulatory Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in shaping the regulatory landscape for our self-driving technology.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on applicable AV regulations at the local, state, and federal level
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives while minimizing regulatory risk
- Analyze and communicate regulatory requirements for market entry, including traffic and motor vehicle laws
- Provide legal counsel on regulatory issues related to vendors, projects, and marketing
- 8+ years of experience as an attorney with a strong background in regulatory and compliance work
- Member of a State bar
- Strong interest in technology and self-driving vehicles
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and cross-functionally
- Excellent legal and business judgment
