Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Jet Health, providing compassionate care to patients enrolled in our hospice services in the Boise, ID area.

About the Role

This is a per diem position, offering a flexible schedule, autonomy, and competitive compensation. As a Nurse Practitioner with Jet Health, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the clinical care and treatment of patients and families; consult with attending physicians as needed.
  • Provide clinical direction to the Interdisciplinary Group to ensure quality care.
  • Collaborate with the IDG to develop patient/family plans of care.
  • Consult with and educate patients/families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and end-of-life care.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current State license as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse; current Driver's License.
  • Experience: Two years' experience as an APN, clinical care setting preferred; hospice or home health preferred.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, palliative care, and end-of-life care; good interpersonal skills.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
