At Soliant, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Behavioral Specialist to join our team in Blue Springs, Missouri.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a certified professional with experience in Behavior Analysis and special education to work closely with students, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who can conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments, develop and implement evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Responsibilities
  • Functional Behavior Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students, providing valuable insights to inform personalized interventions.
  • Behavior Intervention Plans: Develop tailored plans based on FBA findings, incorporating evidence-based strategies and techniques to promote positive behavioral change.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and coaching to school staff members on effective implementation of behavior intervention plans, ensuring consistency and quality across environments.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans by collecting and analyzing data on student behavior, making informed adjustments as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services, promoting a unified approach to meeting student needs.
Requirements
  • A valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is mandatory.
  • Prior experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • A strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools is necessary.
