Laboratory Analyst

As a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) I in our Core Laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in delivering precise and reliable laboratory results that impact patient outcomes positively.

The MT/MLS I operates all instrumentation in assigned areas to deliver timely and accurate laboratory results. This includes performing routine testing, operating equipment, and reporting results through the laboratory computer system accurately, meeting published turn-around times for routine testing and stats. Additionally, the incumbent performs quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary.

• Perform all testing and operation of equipment as necessary to deliver quality results.
• Report results through the laboratory computer system accurately, meeting published turn-around times for routine testing and stats.
• Perform quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoot malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Physical/Life Science or a related field. You should also have less than 2 years of supervisor experience and no experience is preferred. In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in medical laboratory science with a strong understanding of quality control and basic instrument maintenance.
