Job Overview

ACCEL Schools is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Coordinator to support our corporate office in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for managing daily maintenance and repair activities for school properties. The ideal candidate will prioritize tasks to respond to issues as they arise, coordinate resources to maintain clean and safe conditions, and develop effective supplier relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily maintenance and repair activities for school properties.
  • Prioritize tasks to respond to issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate resources to maintain clean and safe conditions.
  • Develop effective supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate sourcing and bidding for annual contracts and service agreements.
  • Assist in operations-related activities in support of schools and other properties.
  • Management of various facilities-related projects as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, management, and suppliers.
Administrative Functions
  • Add and update information in the maintenance management system.
  • Coordinate documentation related to facilities maintenance activities and assets.
  • Create and manage facilities-related schedules and records.
  • Request purchase orders for facilities-related services and supplies.
  • Assist in facilities services bid development and vendor selection.
  • Administer facilities-related contracts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with an associate degree or equivalent work experience, minimum of two years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A strong organization and time management skillset, ability to work independently and contribute to a team, and professional, punctual, and self-motivated attitude are also essential.
