About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' speech and communication skills
  • Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers
  • Provide speech and language therapy to patients in their homes, promoting independence and autonomy
  • Monitor and document patient progress towards treatment goals, ensuring accurate and complete records
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and strategies, empowering them to take an active role in the healing process
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans, fostering a collaborative approach to care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of Florida
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patients in a home care setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to travel to patient homes throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties
