Front Desk Associate

The Front Desk Associate is a key member of the Tampa Preparatory School team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls, responding to general inquiries, and coordinating messages for students, faculty, and staff.
- Greeting and welcoming visitors, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining a record of arrivals and departures.
- Notifying the appropriate office of visitor arrivals and providing directions as needed.
- Updating and maintaining internal and external calendars, ensuring accuracy and minimizing conflicts.
- Providing support with clerical duties for Summer Programs, Admissions, Development, and School Store as needed.
- Utilizing various software applications, including Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, to gather, organize, and distribute information.
- Performing other duties as assigned, including maintaining the front desk area, arranging for package delivery and pickup, and developing and maintaining an information binder.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to model professionalism, ethical leadership, and adherence to school rules and policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with technology and software applications.
- Experience working in an academic environment and familiarity with school SIS systems, preferably BlackBaud.
