Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Calibration Technologist to join our team at Micro Precision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in calibration procedures, instrumentation, and quality management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments across multiple skill areas, including electrical, dimensional, and mechanical equipment. They will also be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of calibration data, as well as collaborating with other technicians and teams to ensure seamless operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Calibrate test instruments across multiple skill areas, including electrical, dimensional, and mechanical equipment
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of calibration data
  • Collaborate with other technicians and teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of calibration equipment
  • Develop and implement calibration procedures and protocols
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration processes and quality standards

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration and metrology
  • Strong knowledge of calibration procedures, instrumentation, and quality management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and regulations
