Greenhouse Horticulturist

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Greenhouse & Nursery Worker to join our team at Ambassador Personnel, Inc. in Spartanburg, SC.

Job Summary:

We require a passionate individual with an eye for detail to assist with the care, growth, and maintenance of plants in our greenhouse environment. Key responsibilities include planting seeds, transplanting, pruning, watering, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Planting: Plant seeds in suitable containers with proper soil and conditions for healthy growth.
• Transplanting: Assist with moving plants to suitable locations for optimal development.
• Pruning: Prune small shrubs and trees to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appearance.
• Watering: Ensure all plants are properly watered according to their individual needs.
• Burlap Wrapping: Assist with wrapping plant balls in burlap for protection during transportation or sale.
• Inventory Management: Help track plant stock, sizes, and varieties.
• Loading: Assist with loading plants for customers, ensuring secure packaging and transportation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a greenhouse, nursery, or landscaping environment is beneficial.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of plant care.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for working with plants.
• Able to work well in a team setting and follow instructions.
