Orthopedic Technician

We are seeking an Orthopedic Technician to join our team at Novant Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care under the guidance of licensed personnel and delivering orthopedic and surgical services following hospital and departmental policies and standards of care.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a strong understanding of orthopedic and surgical procedures. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patient care and support under the guidance of licensed personnel
  • Assisting with orthopedic and surgical procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records

Qualifications for this role include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • College coursework in anatomy and physiology preferred
  • One year of previous orthopedic technologist experience or one year of healthcare experience preferred
