Duke Health, a renowned healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join their team in Durham, North Carolina. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a skilled CT Technologist to work in our Inpatient and Emergency Imaging department. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

**About the Role:

This position requires a graduate or completion of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification, with ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT) within 18 months of employment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist, with a strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and protocols.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment.
  • Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Perform exams accurately per established protocols, policy, and patient safety standards.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and appropriately label.
  • Schedule patients for procedures; assist with clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies in EHR.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Graduate or completion of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
  • ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT) within 18 months of employment.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist.
  • Certification in one of the following: Radiography (R), Radiation Therapy (T), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), CNMT.

**Benefits:**

  • A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

**Work Schedule:** Full-time, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. This position is eligible for a $15,000 commitment bonus.
