Manufacturing Engineer

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leading global company to find a Manufacturing Engineer/Maintenance Manager for a manufacturing industry in New Bern, NC. The company offers relocation assistance, competitive benefits, and a great work environment. This position comes with a salary of $110k to $160k plus a 10% annual bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, guide, and coach department associates to improve their skills and technical knowledge.
- Set and communicate clear department goals derived from the company and overall factory goals.
- Manage the obtaining of set department objectives.
- Ensure economical, quality, reliability, safety, and ergonomic aspects through equipment, tool, process, and workstation development and modification.
- Plan and balance technical capacity, including equipment and manpower.
- Direct standardization of equipment, tools, processes, and workplaces.
- Ensure smooth incorporation of new products or product changes into factory processes.
- Provide timely and efficient support for production operations.
- Initiate and promote continuous optimization to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Oversee plant maintenance, including the preventative maintenance program.
- Coordinate factory investment planning and budgeting.
- Plan and administer department budget.
- Exchange information with ME colleagues from other factories.
- Participate in regular PCG/PD information exchange circles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- Master's degree in Engineering (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in people management.
- 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production.
- 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production (preferred).
- Manufacturing processes with a focus on metal forming, welding, coating, and assembly.
- Lean manufacturing.
- Problem-solving.
- Cost analysis.
- Project management.
- Electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Working in teams.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office software.
- Basics in SAP and CAD.
- Travel percentage: 10%.
