Human Resources Administrator

Octane Design LLC is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing the people side of our growing firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Policy Administration: Develop HR policies related to hiring, compliance with federal and state labor laws, employee relations, payroll, and related areas.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Develop job descriptions, create and advertise job vacancies, track and manage incoming applications, and coordinate the interview process.
  • Benefits and Payroll Administration: Provide information and support regarding employee benefits programs, assist with benefits enrollment, and manage benefit-related inquiries.
  • Employee Relationships: Facilitate effective communication between employees and management, execute initiatives and events that support the company philosophy and culture, and support company leadership in various ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification or similar professional HR certification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a higher-level HR Generalist role with responsibilities of recruitment, hiring, compliance, labor laws, employee relations, and benefits.
  • Demonstrated experience growing the HR function of a startup/emerging company.
  • Comfortable being an HR department of one or a small HR department of less than 5 employees.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to confidentially maintain employee and company information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
