About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Surgery Specialties team at Penn State Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing patients for surgery and providing post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting, preferably in surgery or a related field.
