Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $110,000, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Bariatric Nurse Navigator RN to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in facilitating patient navigation through the bariatric surgery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the bariatric surgeons' office to prepare patients for surgery by providing pre-operative education.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless patient care from immediate post-op through hospital discharge.
- Utilize current bariatric surgery patient clinical care pathways to guide patient navigation throughout the entire care continuum.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least one year of experience in bariatric surgery patient care.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's of Nursing program or achievement of a BSN degree.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel applications.
