About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a caregiver advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live well and achieve their goals.
What You'll Do
You will assist people with their personal hygiene, support individuals who can have behavioral challenges, and help participants develop real-life skills such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Your role will be to create meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve and help them thrive in their communities.
Salary and Benefits
As a full-time employee, you will receive an hourly rate of $14.00 and a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) with a 3% company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and a network of support from supervisors who care deeply about the participants and your wellbeing.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
- Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
