We are seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician I to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our Electro-Neuro Diagnostics department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality EEGs, including awake and asleep studies, video EEGs, cerebral silence, photic stimulation, portable EEGs, and other studies/procedures performed within the department.
  • Calibrate and evaluate EEG instruments to ensure proper technical standards, with emphasis on sensitivity, time axis, and mechanical/electrical baselines.
  • Perform EEGs in accordance with the 10-20 system outlined by ACNS and Medical Director guidelines, departmental policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient care, including test availability and email notifications.
  • Maintain a high skill level of knowledge of EEG through ongoing education and sharing information with staff members.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal Neurodiagnostics program preferred.
  • No previous experience required; Neurodiagnostics experience preferred.
  • BLS certification.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
