Job Summary:

Health Alliance is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients, operating rooms, and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Provide the surgical team with the necessary instruments, sutures, and equipment.
  • Assist with preparing patients for surgery, including verification of patient consent and skin prep.
  • Participate in debriefing and quality improvement practices to ensure quality patient care and patient safety.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a nationally accredited educational program for surgical technologists.
  • Possession of a certified surgical technologist credential administered by a nationally accredited surgical technologist credentialing organization.
  • Written verification by a healthcare facility of employment as a surgical technologist for a cumulative period of one year occurring within the four years immediately prior to January 1, 2015.
