Deliver High-Quality Care as a Home Health Physical Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Home Health Physical Therapist to join our team in Aston, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

This full-time opportunity involves performing home health visits for our senior living office, serving adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories across Delaware County and New Castle County. The ideal candidate will have one year of prior clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist and be able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.
  • Developing and implementing appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
  • Continually assessing and revising the Physical Therapy care plan, and participating with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
  • Educating and instructing clients, family members, or other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
Requirements
  • A current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
