Senior Software Development Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our team at Dignitas Technologies, LLC.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Design and Development: Assist with all aspects of software design and development, including attending and contributing to project development meetings.
System Administration and Troubleshooting: Perform system administration and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
Code Development and Testing: Develop innovative solutions, write and maintain code, and create and conduct development tests to prove functionality.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Integration and Test team to resolve issues, participate in code reviews, and continually improve software development skills.
Documentation and Compliance: Generate and maintain project documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
Excellent Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across multiple levels of engineers and senior leadership.
Programming and Development Experience: Possess experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, C++, C#) and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (i.e., requirements, design, code, and test).
Desired Skills and Qualifications: Have experience with development tools (e.g., Git/Github, SVN, Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket) and knowledge of modern web development skills (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, Angular, REST, websockets).
Education and Experience:
Relevant Degree and Experience: Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field and a minimum of 4 years of experience as a software developer.
Clearance and Citizenship:
Secret Clearance: Hold a current/active secret clearance or be able to obtain one.
U.S. Citizenship: Be a U.S. citizen.
