At Eversource Energy, we are seeking a highly skilled Gas SCADA Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining software and hardware for our Gas SCADA and RTU systems.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Managing, maintaining, and enhancing SCADA system software and field RTU software
  • Developing SCADA operational pages, creating system reports, and maintaining historical and real-time databases
  • Programming and assisting in the installation of all new and upgraded field RTUs and telecommunications
  • Managing remote communications links
  • Working with IT Networking and Security to maintain a reliable and secure Gas SCADA network
  • Providing reports and operational data to various departments and/or agencies
  • Providing training and promoting innovation and participation in system development among users

Key requirements include:



  • Proficiency in Accol Workbench, Modbus, BSAP, OPC, SQL Server, TCP-IP, Microsoft Access, and Office
  • Proficiency in ClearSCADA and ControlWave Designer preferred
  • Understanding of gas distribution system operations and telecommunications preferred
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of three to five years related experience
