Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at Select Medical. As a Clinical Liaison, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with case managers, physicians, and clinicians in acute care hospitals. Your primary responsibility will be to educate staff, patients, and families regarding rehabilitation services provided by our rehabilitation hospital.

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will assess patients with rehab diagnosis, on-site at referring hospitals for admission to the rehab hospital and manage the referral process. You will also create target lists of contacts and decision makers in assigned hospitals, develop relationships, provide excellent customer service, and educate referral sources on services provided by the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with case managers, physicians, and clinicians in acute care hospitals
  • Assess patients with rehab diagnosis, on-site at referring hospitals for admission to the rehab hospital
  • Manage the referral process
  • Create target lists of contacts and decision makers in assigned hospitals
  • Develop relationships, provide excellent customer service, and educate referral sources on services provided by the hospital

Requirements:

  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist
  • Multi-state licensure required based on geographical territory
  • Two years related experience working in a clinical healthcare setting or previous experience working in a clinical liaison role preferred
