Overview:

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Hospice Care team. As an LVN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, working in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing routine visits, and implementing individual teaching plans.
  • Assist in the development and prioritization of interdisciplinary plans of care for patients.
  • Implement and coordinate patient care plans, utilizing organizational skills and reporting mechanisms.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, and drug screens.
  • Maintain neatness and cleanliness in assigned areas, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
  • Arrhythmia certification: Preferred
  • Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Preferred

Benefits:

The estimated base pay for this position is $32.50 - $45.91 per hour. Additional compensation may be available based on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
