Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver / Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges in their homes and communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Encourage participation in community activities and hobbies
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals and their families
Requirements
- No experience required
- No high school diploma required
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts
- Skills: communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
- Behaviors: patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
