About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our hospice team in Bennington, Vermont.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. They will be responsible for making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories, performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures, and monitoring clients' conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through effective communication, education, and support
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Manage client records accurately and maintain confidentiality
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Requirements:
  • A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont
  • A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
  • Prior home care and/or hospice experience is strongly preferred but not required
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, mileage reimbursement, weekly pay, direct deposit, and opportunities for career advancement.
