About the Role

As a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. Your expertise will be essential in managing all aspects of the nursing process, from assessment and planning to implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address concerns and promote understanding
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of Med/Surg experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • BLS certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with preference given to ACLS certification

Estimated Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
