We are seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing carpeted and hard floor surfaces across our facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for performing all floor cleaning and maintenance duties using ServiceMaster provided tools and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
- Operating various floor equipment and machinery
- Providing on-the-job training to new team members
