Job Title: Server Assistant

At Coury Hospitality, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Servers and Hosts in providing exceptional service to guests, including serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and resetting service items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining room, including wiping down booths and chairs, moving tables and chairs, and cleaning floors.
  • Transport dirty tableware to the dish drop area and sort accordingly.
  • Replenish condiments, fold napkins, and polish silverware to maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest service issues and report to the appropriate Server or Manager on Duty.
  • Participate in special cleaning projects, such as dusting, polishing, and scrubbing walls, as determined by weekly needs.
Requirements:
  • Previous restaurant serving and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability to think and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently throughout the dining room.
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry large service trays.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 40 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Closed-toe, non-canvas, and non-skid soled shoes.
