Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year

The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of recent medical office experience and excellent customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform opening and closing clinic duties
  • Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and verify insurance
  • Scanning documents into electronic health records and maintaining the tidiness of waiting areas
  • Checking schedules for added, canceled, or no-show appointments throughout the day
  • Scheduling follow-up appointments as needed
  • Responding to designated tasks in the electronic health record
  • Ordering office supplies and selling cosmetic products
  • Distributing mail and preparing for next-day scheduled appointments

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficient in basic computer functions
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm (preferred)
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information
