Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at MSCCN. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality security services to protect people and property.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, law enforcement, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons.
  • Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
  • Preserve order and act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
  • Monitor closed-circuit television systems and alarms.
  • Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with client employees and guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Guard License as required in the state for which you are applying.
  • Must be able to work in various environments, including adverse outdoor conditions.
  • Must be able to focus and multitask in a busy environment.
Working Environment

The Security Officer will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing situations. They will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide excellent customer service, with a strong focus on safety and security. They will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
