Cheese Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cheese Specialist to join our team at Gary's Wine & Marketplace.

The Role:

As a Cheese Specialist, you will be responsible for helping customers navigate our extensive cheese selection and making informed recommendations. You will also play a key role in maintaining an attractive cheese display and ensuring the freshness of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with cheese and pairing recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date on various cheese types and their characteristics.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing cheese display.
• Educate customers about cheese knowledge and trends.
• Participate in stock management and inventory rotation.

Requirements:

• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive starting salary of $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a generous employee discount.
