Cafe Operations Management Role at Panera Bread

At Panera Bread, we are seeking a skilled Cafe Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery-cafe, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience.

About the Job:

  • Salary and Benefits: This is a full-time role with a competitive salary of approximately $50,000-$60,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with match.
  • Responsibilities:

We are looking for an individual who can lead by example, motivate their team, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Culture Development: Building a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust within the cafe, where employees feel valued and supported.
  2. Guest Experience: Ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience by providing high-quality food, service, staff, and safety measures.
  3. Team Management: Coaching, motivating, and developing associates to exceed sales goals, improve speed of service, and maintain cafe health standards.
  4. Food Safety and Quality: Training and maintaining a high level of food safety standards and ensuring that all food products meet quality expectations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1+ year(s) of restaurant management experience preferred, with a proven track record of directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: ServSafe certification (or able to pass).
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required.
