Physical Therapist II Opportunity at Sutter Health

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a member of our rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs that improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and enhance overall well-being.

About the Role:

  • Assess patients to identify physical limitations and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement individually designed physical therapy programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
  • Complete patient evaluations, tests, and documentation according to established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and support teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides, promoting a culture of excellence and quality patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

Working Conditions:

  • Short-hour schedule, approximately 16 hours per week.
  • Flexible shift assignments, including Fridays and Saturdays.
  • No weekend benefits package is included.

Salary Range:

$61.91 - $77.38 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
