Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team at Twin Cities Orthopedics. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our clinic.
  • Obtain and verify patient demographic and billing information, ensuring accurate and timely billing procedures.
  • Photocopy patients' insurance cards, obtain signatures, and perform registration protocol to check patients in efficiently.
  • Answer phones in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and review provider schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Understand and follow medical records protocols, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal and payment rules.
  • Participate in patient-centered healthcare initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Customer service experience required, with administrative or medical office experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and travel to other clinic locations as needed.
