Training Specialist

Ask IT Consulting seeks a highly skilled Training Specialist to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy for our AmeriCorps program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of attracting diverse, mission-driven individuals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a recruitment strategy to attract top talent to our AmeriCorps program.
- Conduct a recruitment needs assessment of our current programs, including surveys and in-depth discussions with selected programs or focus groups.
- Identify successful recruitment strategies based on best practices from other AmeriCorps state programs, state commissions, and industry standards.
- Provide training and technical assistance to AmeriCorps programs to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement successful recruitment strategies.
- Conduct outreach to colleges, universities, community organizations, and online platforms to promote AmeriCorps opportunities and engage potential candidates.
- Develop and distribute marketing materials to raise awareness of our AmeriCorps program.
Requirements:
- College degree preferred.
- Familiarity with AmeriCorps is a plus.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time position with an approximate work week of 25 hours. The contractor will receive state computer and email. Background verification is required, including a TN Package with Counties Background Check, Education, and Employment verification.
