About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer II to join our dynamic team at Sundt. This is a hands-on role that requires solid technical and analytical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize on-going tasks and projects with distractions while maintaining attention to detail; meet deadlines and deal with shifting priorities.
  • Work on multiple projects at once with given priorities and timelines.
  • Build complex workflows, expressions, queries, and validations with proper error handling and alerting.
  • Create and maintain complex packages in SSIS using third party plugins, data transformations, slowly changing dimensions, and advanced expressions.
  • Design and create tables, stored procedures, views, indexes, and functions using T-SQL.
  • Develops and maintains new and existing ETL / integrations adhering to industry standards and established company best practices.
  • Diagnose job failures and produce solutions to ongoing issues.
  • Document integration processes, configurations, and workflows for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Maintain a high level of accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Provide advanced technical assistance and support for end users.
  • Reporting and data-driven subscriptions in SSRS.
  • Supplemental and backup support for Data Warehouse residing in Azure.
  • Tracks database schema changes, code changes, and promotion to Production using GIT repos and Cl/CD pipelines.
  • Work on projects independently including coding and debugging while following technical specifications.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years advanced technical experience with three or more of the following: TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, Azure Data Factory, REST API, JSON.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 8+ years relevant work experience.
  • Experience in an environment supporting Windows and/or Azure components.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Self-motivated with sharp attention to detail.
