Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our detox and recovery team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing detoxification and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintains a safe and healthy environment for patients by ensuring adherence to infection control practices and maintaining accurate records.
  2. Assesses patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans to address these needs.
  3. Administers medications as prescribed by medical staff, monitoring patients for adverse reactions and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
  4. Provides education and guidance to patients on proper self-care techniques, including medication management and stress reduction strategies.
  5. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  6. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or similar advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) credential.
  • Current licensure to practice as an NP or APRN in the state where employed.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in addiction medicine or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
Benefits
