About the Job
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses to prioritize tasks and provide personal care to patients.
- Perform basic nursing skills, including vital signs, wound care, and range of motion exercises.
- Assist with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
Requirements
- CURRENT RHODE ISLAND LICENSE AS A NURSING ASSISTANT REQUIRED
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform basic computer skills
- Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- One year of experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred
Working Conditions
This role requires prolonged sitting, standing, and walking. Repeated bending, squatting, and stooping may be required. The ability to lift/turn patients and equipment is necessary.
