Job Summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment, including scales, baggers, and checkweighers/metal detectors.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on automation and manual equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall production efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices to ensure equipment is operating within optimal parameters.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent mechanical skills, including ability to read and follow wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and operation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
