Job Summary

Kaztronix is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Formulation Specialist to join our team in Princeton, NJ. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will play a crucial role in the development of various consumer products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate small batches of various consumer products, including personal care items, household products, and cosmetics.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of formulated batches to assess their performance and stability, including testing for viscosity, pH levels, and overall product performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development processes.
  • Maintain detailed records of formulations, testing procedures, and results, adhering to strict documentation standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory requirements relevant to product formulation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Scientific Discipline, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in academic or industrial settings with pH and viscosity testing techniques.
  • Previous experience in personal care or consumer product formulation is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
