At Riviera Health Resort, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team in Coral Gables, Florida.
This is a full-time opportunity to work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, providing high-quality care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physical therapists to implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by licensed physical therapists.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Empower patients and their families with knowledge on exercises and activities to be performed at home, promoting a seamless transition from treatment to daily life.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
- A minimum Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- CURRENT state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, prioritizing collaboration and open communication.
- A patient-focused approach, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.
