Summary Description of the Position: As a seasoned tax professional, you'll join our fast-paced environment where you'll gain valuable skills and advance your career in accounting. Ongoing opportunities and increased responsibilities will be yours to seize as you grow with the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex business tax returns for S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, and non-profits.
  • Review and refine income tax returns prepared by junior staff members.
  • Assist in coordinating engagements, including client contact, staff requirements, documentation, and timing.
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues to research and solve intricate tax issues, developing innovative solutions for clients.
  • Supervise junior staff members while working on special projects, providing guidance and support.
  • Bld strong relationships with clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Cultivate skills to promote the firm, attract new clients, and expand existing business.

Expected Qualifications include:

  • BA or BS degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active CPA License.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of public accounting experience.

You'll need:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • Good judgment and professional skepticism.
  • Excellent analysis and observation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, staff, and clients.
  • Proficiency in accounting software packages and MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
