Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Data Analyst to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our data analysis team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering data-driven insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data management and quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Develop and maintain complex data analyses and reports using SAS, SQL, and other data mining tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Provide expert-level data analysis and interpretation to stakeholders, including identifying trends and patterns in data.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Science, Business, Public Policy, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Advanced SAS/SQL programming skills and experience with data mining software tools.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in healthcare data analysis.
  • Knowledge of the State Medicaid system or other large state bureaucracy.
