Quality Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Verdagy. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our electrolyzer cell manufacturing factory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare metallurgical samples for inspection, including cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching/staining.
  • Conduct microscopic inspections of metallurgical samples, including photo documentation, image analysis, and report generation.
  • Perform physical measurements of finished and intermediate products using automated coordinate measuring tools.
  • Test electrolyzer cells and components for pressure decay and tracer gas leaks.
  • Measure electrical characteristics of cell components using resistance measurements and other electrical characterization techniques.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a STEM field preferred.
  • Experience with optical microscopy and metallography.
  • Proficiency with electrical measurements and basic electrical test equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
