Registered Nurse, PACU, Part Time Days

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients undergoing surgical, pain management, and endoscopic procedures.
- Monitor Patient Physiological Status: You will closely monitor patients' physiological status in the immediate postoperative environment and communicate with the surgeon and anesthesiologist as needed.
- Manage Pain: You will be responsible for assessing and managing patients' pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques and educating patients and families on pain management.
- Collaborate with the Team: You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements- Graduate of an Accredited RN Program: You must be a graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Nevada Nursing License: You must hold a current Nevada nursing license.
- BLS Certification: You must hold a current BLS certification.
- PACU Experience: Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care PACU setting.
- ACLS Certification: You must hold a current ACLS certification.
- Handle with Care Certification: You must hold a current Handle with Care certification in the required specialty.
